Bots now have a higher difficulty level than before on all servers?

Hi,

Myself and other players on the CSS servers have recently seen the bots have been given a much higher skill level than previously, can I ask why this has been done as personally I think it's made the game far less enjoyable to play and other players seem to feel the same that I've talked too. I guess some might like it too, but I've yet to speak to anyone that thinks it's an improvement and enhanced the servers. It usually means that now by the time you get to another human player your nearly dead already. The bot difficulty was good however what also did need changing if anything was how quickly you could access a bot and take over once dead, normally just taking it over and getting killed instantly because it took too long.

I don't mean this to come across as just a moan because the Css servers were probably the most fun to play public servers with all the neat VIP features and stuff. Obviously I don't pay anything to access your server and at the end of the day it's your servers to do as you wish with, but also if no one point's problems out you won't know.

I admit I voted for what I already regret, but this will be tested first, should more players speak out against it, I think the game setting will be changed again, I hope I could help you.

Thanks for the reply and link to the previous poll for bot skill difficulty, shame I missed it as I would have definitely voted no!

Well lets hope more people come here and let them know it was a mistake and it's now not as good. Ideally when a server is full of human players it doesn't matter, but CSS being the old game it is more often than not the servers are not even nearly full and the speed sometimes these bots attack you is insane. I'm far from the best player in the game, but would say I am above average, so If I find them sometimes impossible with their instant head shots and higher durability it's a safe bet to say plenty of others are too.

Thanks for the quick reply, I also have problems with the bots, they just shoot "wildly" around themselves, as you said, also through boxes, I'm actually not a bad player either, let's hope that this time more people will join us Will comment.

I've found that on D2 unlimited RS map at one point I was going to call an admin because I thought a player was cheating that was until I went to spec him and it was a bot as A2k said we like these servers and with the VIP bonuses they are very good but respawning just to get shot to 20-50 hp before you've got somewhere is a bit downheartning I do hope more people come forward

Thanks for sharing your opinion.
In the last days many players were complaining about the "new bots".

Give us some days... at first this is just a test with the skilled bots. Maybe we will change back.
