hello,

i would like to make a suggestion on banning the machine gun on the de_dust only server as you see in the video included with my topic the weapon is a favorite among these players but ruins the expierence of fun for others..
there's no skill to it and if everyone starts using it than the fun will follow soon.
just like the awp this weapon is banned to be set as a primary weapon to spawn with but unlike the awp you can still purchase it through the buying menu.
its not just me but a whole lot of other players on your community who dislikes the use of this weapon and wishes it to just disappear.
i hope you'll take notice of this with following actions.
it honestly ruins the fun.

I get the point that you don't like this weapon, but if everyone come to ban a weapon he don't like, then we run around like chickens and wait till the round is over.

I don't like destrictions. It changes the game in a way that it's not intended to be played . It's a tactic shooter, find a way to whip these butts

Just my opinion: I personally disagree with your opinion. "La Magra" said the right. This gun is a part of this game and shouldn't get banned.

Thank you for your proposal but most of the admins dedcided 'em against to ban this gun.

The M249 should be a part of this game like camping, rushing or the Ak47 .

--> One more reason for disagree with your proposal:
For example: We banned the M249 out of game. Tomorrow one other user wants to get banned the Ak / M4.
It would be a never-ending-story i guess .

i guess so but then why is the awp banned?
just as the machine gun its overpowered but honestly wish to use the weapon from time to time but than again everyone will start using it for a one hit kill.
my point is as soon as people start noticing its getting crowded or they cant win the fight they start either using the p90 or the m249 which some people including me find very annoying.
there's in my opinion nothing tactical about the weapon the way its used in the server is usually spray and pray but no way to get away from some one shooting a 100 bullets at you.
but i respect your decision and still want to thankyou for looking into it.

Is funny to watch people use it. Shoot down to the ground and to the right since the spray shots up to the left, lol.

know the feeling, its not only annouying for that server trust me, on D2 UL DM Server for example, if ur a CT and the other Team has few P90's and/or M249's it becomes almost impossible to relocate after a respawn since they wait on top of CT base and by the time you spotted the enemy ur already dead again. but...AWP is a disliked weapon as wel but everyone loves to play it and just like the AWP's its not impossible to overcome those M249's users outplay them :p
