at the moment we haven't planned any changes.
We aren't informed enough about such settings, sorry.
Change serversettings and risk a servercrash ... ? Why ?
--> Never change a running system!

we wanted to change our tickrates from 66 to 100 on all servers.
..but there was a problem. Our CPU was too overloaded
.
That 's the reason for changed back all.

Hi Guys.. this is Chinese to me but I would like to run faster in CS source like many other players.. I wish I could translate what u have discussed and set my pc - internet - steam settings to optimal. I am not happy seeing so many other players on 4Played much faster than me... spoils the fun being slaughtered. I am a normal player on steam and life pisses me off when other players say they have an older pc - graphic card and move so much faster than me and others... sorry to bore but I am interested in learning more from playing CS source... Ty..

Hello, I'm reviving the topic ^^
The sv_minrate 60000 is ok but...
Sv_mincmdrate and sv_minupdaterate must be at 66 please... not less...
Some players with the default source netcode are much less "touchable"... and it's not a feeling
