My apologies for breaking the rules. I was completely unaware at the time that my screen name was inappropriate. In the UK, this name wouldn't have been viewed as offensive. I do however understand the problem.

Due to the nature of CSS, i wasn't previously registered on the forums. I have since registered, and read through the rules. My screen name has been changed.

I'm not here to break the rules, i'm here to play on these great servers. I hope you can accept my apologies and we can move forward.

before your perm ban - you got 2 chances to change your name. (2x 14 days ban)
Now - 2 years later you changed your opinion that something was wrong. A lil bit late in my opinion.

These are german servers. Then you should read our rules before joining. It doesnt matter what is allowed or not in UK.

by the way:
Stalin isnt a funny or cool joke. It was one of the worst dictators in world.

I appreciate that there were two previous bans. To be quite honest, i was wholly unaware i was banned at all due to me not playing frequently enough at the time - work commitments etc - and equally i'm not a big gamer now.

In terms of the "comedy value" of the name Joseph Stalin - you're missing the satire element. Stalin was the Minister for the Armed Forces of the Soviet Union during the invasion of World War 2 but obviously wouldn't have been fighting on the front line - unlike in the game Counter Strike. This highlighted the irony. It also emphasised the element of "crushing the Enemy".

In terms of the "worst dictators of the world", i'd say that's subjective. Brutal man for sure. Blood on his hands for sure. But did his personality and cult-like presence prevent Nazi occupation of the USSR? Would WW2 have been won had the CCCP collapsed and been Nazi occupied? Would the citizens of the USSR been converted to Nazism had the values of Socialism not been stamped into them by Lenin and Stalin? Would this have fuelled the Third Reich and led them to total European victory? Without him as a dictator over the Russians, would we all be under the dictatorship of the Nazi party? These are hypothetical questions, ones we will never really know the answer to and most importantly and not really relevant to the ban.

To be honest again - i didn't really know i was banned 2 years ago until i retuned to the game. I am not a hardcore gamer. I'm a rather dull ordinary person.

I trust you to make your own judgement, but my name has changed and now complies with the rules and I again ask for your forgiveness.
