First of all, let me say a big thanks to the 4PLAYED TEAM for running this servers for us.
Seeing an active CS community in 2025 is amazing, and you guys are the ones making it happen.
I've been playing this game since the start (with breaks of course), but CSS is where I stopped.
The hook still holds and I've been having a lot of fun on your servers this past year which is shown in the community STATS (big props).
I picked "D2 DM NoSniper" to be the go-to server.
The main reason is that the server is ALIVE and people actually talk in chat and many also use microphone. That is a huge + to the "fun factor" for me.
With this people the games are fun and it leads to smart plays, pushes, counter attacks, NADE blasts and most fun of all - knife fights.
Now, the second reason (chronologically it was the first), why I picked this server is the name itself.
DM2,DM(Deathmatch) (fast paced game with little camping as possible), NoSniper (additional camping reduction, that synergies with DM).
I'm a simple player, mostly rusher. Not the best one, but I know when to stop, to listen, to keep an eye on the radar and ambush (yes I consider that soft camping) when its needed. But I never hard camp.
Now some might think that I got bothered by certain people who ONLY SIT with PARA behind doors / corners / dark places. No.
Yes they are campers, yes they ANNOY people, yes they never speak or type in chat, yes they could be bots. But no.
Because you can play around them. You can even wait for them to reload for example, pray they aren't surrounded with 5 bots, run in - and knife them.
Who I'm having problem with (and yes, they sometimes even make me point them out in chat) is smart hard core - spawn - scope campers.
I don't have to point them out, you just look at the stats and their KPD is pretty noticeable.
This people join the game, sit in spawn and just camp. For the entire session. If the game would have a "move meter" the numbers would be funny to see.
They do this for the next hour or so, write "session" and go to bed satisfied. That's so Retro
Yes its a tactic. But on DM NoSniper? Should not be. At least they shouldn't be awarded and protected for it.
What's the point? Camp and be top? No Inspector, you are not this people, you just play too much - but your buddy is
So to cut this long post short, I don't expect the change. Change of banning them, or change in their behaviour.
I just want you guys to change "Camping is allowed" in-game message to "Camping is allowed (only because there is no tool to prevent it, but its not desired - and if you hard-camp all the time, you are being a little prick" or similar.
Just to make it clear to them (because its clear to most of players, I am not the only one calling them out on regular basis). As for me, they bug me to the point where i get Grumpy and I don't want to play with them anymore. Hence the post.
So another win for them and -1 for the server for the time being.
